MUDr. Martin Kotrč

MUDr. Kotrč works at Unicare Medical as cardiologist for adults focusing on cardiovascular imaging methods and cardiac catheterization. He successfully completed his studies at the Third Faculty of Medicine at the Charles University in Prague in 2008 and has been working as a cardiologist at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM) in Prague since then. After two years of practice at the prestigious Onze-Lieve Vrouw Ziekenhuis Cardiovascular Center in Belgium, he received a certificate from the European Society of Cardiology for transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. He has been performing cardiac catheterization at IKEM since 2015, with a license for diagnostic and interventional catheterization since 2021. Dr. Kotrč specializes in valve defects and cardiomyopathies, and is currently the chief physician of non-invasive cardiology at IKEM. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Czech and also speaks German and French.
