MUDr. Štefan Kukura

Dr. Kukura has more than 25 years of clinical experience in general medicine, internal medicine including abdominal ultrasonography, and nephrology. He has graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Bratislava in 1994 and since that time has been working in multiple hospitals in the Czech Republic and abroad. He has worked as a nephrologist at Transplant Center IKEM and Dialysis Centre, participated in scientific research work and travelled abroad for study programmes, such as Salzburg (1995) and Würzburg University (2002). Dr. Kukura has been cooperating with Unicare since 1998 and worked here as a general practitioner and internist between 2005-2010 and now coming back after 10 years as head physician in Canadian Medical. Besides Unicare he runs his own private clinic in Prague 9. He is a member of several professional associations: ČLK, ČLS JEP, General Practice Society, Czech Nephrology Society, Czech Hypertension Society, European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association. He speaks English, German, Russian, Hungarian, Slovakian and Czech.
