MUDr. Maria Munclinger

Dr. Munclinger is a dentist at Unicare. She graduated in dentistry from Charles University in Prague in 1976 and passed her first certification exam in 1987. Since then, she has worked full-time in this profession both in the Czech Republic and for an extended period in South Africa, where she has run her own practice since 1999. Since 2024, she has been part of the Unicare medical team. MUDr. Munclinger believes in a conservative approach, aiming to preserve the natural structure of teeth rather than opting for artificial replacements whenever possible. The health of a patient's teeth is part of overall well-being and must be considered in the context of the entire body. It is not possible to treat the mouth without a deep understanding of how the teeth affect the rest of the body, from pH balance, microbial and bacterial flora, infection, inflammation, or immunity, and vice versa. MUDr. Munclinger speaks Czech, English, and Slovak.
