What do you need to know about the vaccinations for your children?

Immunization is a simple, safe and effective way of protecting children against various diseases. It is important to know, that vaccines rank among the safest and most effective devices to prevent infectious diseases. The risks resulting from delaying or not vaccinating your child are far greater than the risk of an adverse event. All forms of immunization work in the same way. The vaccination is leading to immune response of the body resulting into production of antibodies against the illness. This response is very similar to that which would follow exposure to infection but without development of the disease. If the vaccinated person comes into contact with the infection in the future, the body is able to create an immune response quickly enough to prevent the person getting sick. The vaccination schedule recommended at Unicare Medical Center is on the previous page. This can be adapted according to the personal needs of the patient. Tuberculosis vaccination of all newborns in Czech Republic provided in Hospital. The examination by pediatrician before any vaccination is essential. The schedule of preventive examinations is on previous page. The price of comprehensive examination is 2250 CZK, in case that the child is regularly followed at Unicare Medical Center, the minimal fee for evaluation before vaccination is 600 CZK.
